Introduction:

Agraphia is an acquired impairment of writing that is commonly seen as a symptom of aphasia (Roeltgen, 1994; Weekes, 2005). Difficulties with producing written language can negatively impact quality of life (Lee et al., 2015), impede completion of workplace responsibilities (Rapp, 2005), and hinder the ability to perform everyday tasks (such as making shopping lists and writing emails). This resource is designed to introduce SLP’s to a variety of assessment tools and treatment approaches that they may consider using when working with clients with agraphia.
