Speaker Information and Disclosures

With over 25 years of experience in medical, academic, and industry settings, Dr. Kristin King brings a unique perspective of medical speech-language pathology. With a focus on neurological disease processes, her research and teachings have investigated traumatic brain injury, swallowing disorders, and aspects of critical care (tracheostomy and mechanical ventilation).  She regularly speaks both domestically and internationally, publishes in peer-reviewed journals, and publishes frequently in clinical journals. She also has acted as an expert witness.

Jessica Lasky is a medical Speech-Language Pathologist that specializes in dysphagia and the adult and geriatric populations. Jessica has worked in nearly every setting possible from outpatient neuro rehabilitation, stroke, and trauma 1 hospitals, acute rehab facilities, and SNFs. In 2015 Jessica launched her mobile FEES company, Mobile Scope, that provides FEES services throughout the state of Arizona. She has since also launched a CEU company, Evolutionary Education Solutions, focusing on dysphagia and FEES training.
