How can we advocate for our profession to help our patients? – Recording
Presented by: Kelly Caldwell MS, CCC-SLP
COURSE AVAILABLE MAY 1, 2023 – MAY 1, 2028
Join mentor and advocacy leader Kelly Caldwell as she discusses all of the ways we can advocate for our field! This month is a little different – instead of hosting a two-hour webinar, we're bringing you a discussion platform to learn and get inspired to advocate (and earn 0.1 ASHA CEU for participating)!
After this course, you will be able to…
- Describe ways in which speech-language pathologists (SLPs) can develop advocacy skills to support our profession and subsequently help our patients.
- Describe ways to get involved with advocacy at both the state and national levels.
- Identify how to incorporate the code of ethics when advocating for our profession and patients.
