- 0-5 minutes – Introduction to the investigation of “idiopathic” dysphagia
- 5-25 minutes – Investigating the “crime scene”: medical record review, patient/caregiver interviewing techniques, and the Clinical Swallow Evaluation
- 25-50 minutes – Probable cause and obtaining search warrants: instrumental swallow exams, specialist consultations, and ancillary medical diagnostics
- 50-65 minutes – Mastering abductive reasoning: “means, motive, and opportunity” in establishing dysphagia culpability
- 65-120 minutes – Case Studies and Q&A
