Introduction:
The Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA) is a national organization founded in 1980 that advocates for people with brain injuries, their families, and the professionals who serve them.
As part of that mission, BIAA has created the Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists (ACBIS). The purpose of ACBIS is to create a network of rehabilitation professionals with specialized training who can meet the unique needs of people with acquired brain injuries across the healthcare continuum.
